Quiet location close to the action in centre of resort ...
This beautiful contemporary 5 star chalet is just a few minutes drive from the centre of Morzine - close enough to make the most of the bars, shops and restaurants in this busy resort, but set in quiet residential area where you won't be disturbed.
Sleeping up to 13 people, it's the perfect base for two or three familes who wish to holiday together. However, larger groups can be accommodated by booking with the nearby properties, Villa Solaire and Le Petit Refuge.
The property has been beautifully designed in a typical mountain style, using a mixture of old and new wood, with quirky and artistic touches adding a unique character. Add a hot tub, steam room, sauna and games room and you've all the ingredients for a perfect holiday!
Plus in the summer there is a large wooden terrace, and a large flat garden, ideal for children with plenty of tables and chairs.
Well-planned chalet has all the ingredients for a perfect holiday ...
The accommodation is set over three floors, connected by a beautiful contemporary staircase.
As you enter on the ground floor, there's a useful laundry room with a washing machine, dryer and boot warmer - the perfect place to dump outdoor gear after a day's skiing or hiking. There's also a cloakroom here.
The large open plan living area has an open fire, a huge flat screen television and cosy sofas for long evenings with friends. The well-equipped kitchen makes cooking for a crowd simple and there's room for everyone to sit down together and enjoy a meal. This area also has access to the terrace, large flat garden and the hot tub.
The master bedroom is also on the ground floor, and has a large double bed, wood-burning stove, hammam shower room and opens on to the terrace - you might never want to leave!
Upstairs there's a great children's bedroom, with two sets of bunk beds, a single bed and access to the balcony. There's also a shower room, a double room with balcony and en suite shower, and two more double bedrooms, one of which opens on to the balcony. The large family bathroom has a shower, bath and a sauna.
Younger visitors will love the mezzanine top floor, where they will find a Playstation, TV, dvd player and football table. There are also a couple of futon beds up here which are perfect for extra visitors or just lounging around! The chalet is equipped with wifi and a sound system and has French and English television channels.
Great skiing on your doorstep with plenty more to explore ...
The town of Morzine is in the heart of the Portes du Soleil, making the neighbouring resorts of Les Gets and Avoriaz easily accessible.
You can also ski in to Switzerland, but be warned, only the most accomplished skiers should tackle the Swiss Wall - a huge mogul field which is classified as an orange route - too hazardous for a black rating! But with 650km of pistes, there is plenty of scope for skiers and boarders of all ages and abilities. The ski bus stops near Chalet Ressource, making this fabulous chalet the perfect base for fans of winter sports.
If you're not a skier, Morzine also offers indoor and outdoor ice skating rinks, which are often host to ice hockey matches, and the local cinema often shows films in English. The more adventurous might like to try snowmobiling or ice-climbing on some of the area's frozen waterfalls, or discover the area in a more sedate manner on a sleigh ride.
Other ways to have fun include snowshoeing and sledging, while the Indiana adventure park offers a variety of activities for all ages. Back at the chalet there is a large terrace and flat garden, perfect for enjoying the winter sunshine with a cup of coffee and children making snowmen!
Walk on the wild side or enjoy the family entertainment ...
When the snow melts, the lush green slopes around Morzine become a haven for walkers, mountain bikers and thrill-seekers.
The lifts will transport you and your bike up the mountains, leaving you to come back down at your leisure. Take a picnic, and make a day of it! Morzine has earned Famille Plus status for its excellent childcare and entertainment, so it's the perfect choice for young families. There are superb water parks in the town and in neighbouring Avoriaz, as well as two summer sledge runs, while the Indiana adventure park has a range of assault courses to suit all ages.
Golfers will find excellent courses in Les Gets and Avoriaz. Other activities include climbing, rafting, via ferrata, canyoning, mini-golf, quad bikes, fishing and kayaking. You can also take advantage of the Portes du Soleil Multi Pass, offering unrestricted access to the full range of family activities.
Morzine is just the start of a great Alpine holiday ...
The traditional town of Morzine and the neighbouring resorts of Avoriaz and Les Gets offer plenty of variety for a holiday, whatever the time of year, but if you venture a little further, there's plenty more to discover.
The Portes du Soleil resorts cross the border into Switzerland, giving you two countries and two cultures to experience. It's just over half an hour's drive to Lake Geneva, where you can explore lakeside resorts the pretty spa town of Evian-les-Bains, or the beautiful medieval village of Yvoire.
You can take also cruise to other lakeside towns such as Lausanne and Montreux.
In Chamonix, just an hour's drive away, you can ride on the second-largest cable car in the world, and take in the spectacular views from Mont Blanc. Geneva airport is just an hour's drive away from Chalet Ressource, so if you don't manage to see everything this time, you'll just have to come back again next year!

Situated on a large, flat, south facing plot, the chalet is now ready to welcome it's first guests, so please, come and recharge your batteries at Chalet Ressource, with your family, or with friends...

“A home away from home”
It was amazing - we felt at home here as soon as we arrived! Chalet Ressource is a magical place where nothing has been forgotten - everything had been designed with taste and generosity, right down to the last detail. We had two great weeks with family and friends. Once again the snow arrived right on time. Well done and thank you to the owners and to Nicolas and Aurelie for making our holiday such a success!

“MY HOME is pleased to welcome the magnificent Chalet Ressource to its portfolio from winter 2015/16.”
The family who own the chalet spent several years searching for their perfect winter home. They eventually found the chalet of their dreams, where family and friends could get together to share good times in Morzine. When they are not using the property, they would like to rent it out to people who will appreciated and respect their art.
This huge new chalet which is currently being furnished and finished, has been equipped to a very high standard. From the bed linen to the kitchen, the jacuzzi and the fireplace, everything has been chosen with comfort and convenience in mind.
Come and experience this superb property for yourself.
